The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) is the peak industry body representing Australia’s $43 billion tourism export sector. As an organisation, our views are informed by the broadest cross-section of the Australian tourism industry.
ATEC represents more than 1000 members across Australia including large national and multinational companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, many of whom are based in regional and remote parts of Australia.
Our members include inbound tour operators and online distributors who connect Australian tourism products with vital distribution channels in key overseas markets. Those tourism products include accommodation providers, tour companies, attractions, airlines, cruise lines, transport operators, food and beverage outlets and tourism services including retail outlets, educational institutions and guiding organisations.
Our services include B2B opportunities, industry advocacy and development, education and business capacity building, local and national networking events and conferences.
